It's Okay Friday

And ... breathe.

If this week could be summed up in one word it would be:
(I couldn't find anything sufficiently angry/ ragey, so this will have to do. via weheartit)

Work has been driving me mad. Correction, the people I work with have been driving me mad. I have never been so close to grabbing my bag and moonwalking out the door chanting "See ya later, Suckaz!!" while pulling various obscene finger gestures.

But, it is Friday and I am so ready to put this week behind me and enjoy the upcoming weekend. I am accompanying Lauren to her first official Wedding Dress fitting tomorrow, and then am off to spend some quality time with my Henley family - it's been way too long!

Have you ever had one of those weeks you just want to forget? It's okay ...

It's also okay to:
  1. Let London's brief return to Siberian winter put me off my running for a week.
  2. Watch 4 hours of Masterchef in a row - it just got interesting.
  3. Indulge in a therapeutic bitch session over some delicious Thai.
  4. Think about the future.
  5. Not quite believe my luck in finding the perfect flat.
  6. Be caught completely unawares by the speed with which I will be moving into said perfect flat. I don't have enough time to grieve.
  7. Eat cake.
  8. Spend money I don't have.
  9. Lose my temper at work. And not in a passive-agressive kind of way.
  10. Draw the line.

It's Burrito o'clock tonight! Yes. Please.

I hope y'all have a fabulous weekend. Any plans?**

I hope your weekend is better. I don't have plans really. Other than working on my new manuscript. My husband will be home though, so that's always a plus.

I'm sorry you had a rough week...but it sounds like you've got some fun things planned for the weekend! I hope next week goes much better.

I like cake. :)

Hope your weekend is much better than your week. My husband is coming home from a business trip to India, so the kids and I are excited to see him and hear all the details about the excursion.

It went by too fast for me! I feel like I didn't accomplish much of anything.

Maybe next week will be different. Bring on the weekend! :)

I do hope your weekend brings peace and maybe a glass of wine. I am working on a new WIP, so some writing. Having lunch with my daughter and then going on for mani/pedis. Should be a fun.

I am moving soon hopefully--and I still can't believe it which is why I say hopefully and touch wood after everytime I say I am moving.

And today when I had to show people round the flat I felt sad to be leaving--it's all happening too fast, so I can definitely understand :)

No plans other than work on Saturday and rest on Sunday. Which is as usual.
