It has been another fabulously eventful weekend in London. And sunny. Yes please. Bring on Spring already.
On Friday my dear friend (and future flatmate) Roz came over and we all watched The Bodyguard starring Kevin Costner and the late great Whitney Houston. This film holds a lot of memories for me. My mother was may age (can you handle it?!) when this film first came out and she was obsessed. We must have watched this film together a couple of dozen times over the years, so when I saw the DVD for sale in our local Tesco for £2 I thought - why not.
And oh, it was beautifully trashy - just like I remembered. This film should come with a warning label, though. Something along the lines of:
"Viewers beware. After watching this film you WILL have I will Always Love You stuck in your head. For days." So annoying.
On Saturday, Lauren and her lovely mum, Di, took all of us bridesmaids fabric and pattern shopping. We spent 3 hours at the Fabric Warehouse in Uxbridge paging through, what felt like, hundreds of pattern books, and suffering many a papercut and low-blood sugar dizzy spell. But, I am pleased to report the day was a massive success and we all FINALLY decided on our dress patterns. Yay!
A big shout out to our long-distance fellow bridesmaid, Sarah, who is currently living in Thailand. We missed you muchly, but I think we got you a good dress design. So exciting.
Today, was my down day. I caught up with the family back home, watched a bit of Grey's Anatomy and went for an 11.8km run in the park (dressed like Running Barbie, but that is beside the point).
On to today's post. I am once again linking up with the wonderful Jenni over at Story of My Life. She left me the sweetest comment on one of my posts last week and I was on Cloud Nine. When a big blogger with such a massive following takes the time to visit and comment on a little old blog like mine, it's like having an encounter with a celebrity ... so honoured.

@Traci - it was so good. It was the first time in 6 weeks we had eaten bread and pizza and cheese and meats. So delicious. I am still salivating!

Lady, your post reminds me of two important things: 1. How I wish I had an iPhone so I could do Instagrams as well! 2. I saw clips of "The Bodyguard" and it's taken three days to get Whitney's tune out of my head! :)
Just watched The Bodyguard for the first time last week! Great movie! It was on Lifetime again last night!

Your instagram photos are fabulous! I just recently discovered this app and now I'm not sure how I ever managed to capture anything on camera before it! Or at least my photos I did take never looked so good... ;o)
